Make the complicated clear
A process, a number, a product that has not been built yet: animation shows what a camera cannot. We design and animate explainer videos, infographic films, title sequences, animated logos and lower thirds, and the motion graphics that sit inside live-action films and ads.
Our animation showreel collects a few of these. For Sakura Solar we made an animated tea infographic promo. For Jaguar Land Rover we made the Defender Album, a stop-motion film for social.
For MAS Intimates we made 2D and 3D animation and the MAS Service Awards 2022 event videos. For Hemas we animated the Behethonline series, for UNDP awareness animations, and for Kaizoft, a US software firm, a 3.5-minute animated explainer with voice-over. Smaller jobs matter too: 30-second text-animation promos for social, animated logos, and infographic artwork that works on screen and in print.
How we work
We start with the script and a style frame, so you can see the look before anything moves. Then storyboard, design, animation and sound. Everything is made in-house in After Effects and finished alongside our film edits in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere and Final Cut Pro, so animation and live action match.
Animation works well on social, where most video is watched without sound. We design for that, with clear on-screen text, and deliver square and vertical versions for Instagram and Facebook as well as 16:9.
Where animation helps
Launching a product before it exists. Showing a process inside a factory, a supply chain or a piece of software. Turning a sustainability or annual report into something people will actually watch. Safety and training content that has to be understood by everyone, in every language. Short animated loops also make strong social posts, and screen content for events and showrooms.
Where we are
We work from two bases: Colombo (405/1 Gathotuwa Rd, Colombo 10600) and Kandy (21/142 Aruppola, Kandy 20000). Crew and kit travel island-wide, from Colombo boardrooms and showrooms to hill-country estates around Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, and down to Galle and the south coast. Filming in Sri Lanka from abroad? What kinds of animation do you make?

Can you mix animation with live-action footage?
Yes. We shoot and animate in-house, so graphics can be built into the film from the start rather than added on top.
Can you animate in Sinhala and Tamil?
Yes. On-screen text and voice-over can be made in English, Sinhala and Tamil.
How long does an explainer take?
It depends on the length and style. We agree the script and a style frame first, then give you a schedule for the rest.
