Coverage that feels like the night

An event happens once. We plan coverage with you beforehand, so the moments that matter (the reveal, the speech, the handover, the first song) are covered from more than one angle, and the room is lit for camera.

Then we cut it the way you need it: a short promo before the event, a same-week aftermovie, highlight reels for social, and full-length recordings of talks and panels.

For Compassion International’s AMT Gathering at the Sheraton Colombo we ran a multi-camera event with 12 cameras and a 15-person crew, edited and delivered within a week. Other briefs we have delivered: eight edited one-hour session videos within a week; an AGM movie plus a short version; and two or three cameras per room for conferences. Beyond the city we have filmed launches and ceremonies in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Dambulla and Anuradhapura, where we covered a pinkama for Indra Traders at Ruwanweli Maha Seya and Sri Maha Bodhiya.

Live streams

We run multi-camera live production and stream to YouTube and Facebook, with switching, graphics and clean sound. Our live streams have run for hours at a time, and we plan the crew, cameras and connection for each venue.

We have streamed convocations, including British Way English Academy’s in Kandy, plus hospital emergency drills and coaching events, and made orientation films such as the University of Kelaniya CDCE Virtual Orientation Programme.

Events we have covered

For Jaguar Sri Lanka, The Art of Performance Tour: the promo, the driver experience, the winning moment and the aftermovie. British Car Day, Mamma Mia! Sri Lanka 2018 with Cinnamon Life, and live music with Daniel O’Donnell & Mary Duff. For Access Motors, Christmas Atelier 2019, Access Elevate NYE 2019 and their 2019 press conference. Ministry of Sound’s Sri Lanka tour in 2017, Sundowners at Galle Face Hotel, and a regatta between Ladies’ College and Musaeus College.

We also run event planning and photobooths for corporate events. Weddings and personal celebrations are covered by our sister studio, Embrace.

Where

We work from two bases: Colombo (405/1 Gathotuwa Rd, Colombo 10600) and Kandy (21/142 Aruppola, Kandy 20000). Crew and kit travel island-wide, from Colombo boardrooms and showrooms to hill-country estates around Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, and down to Galle and the south coast. Filming in Sri Lanka from abroad?
